About Us
Andy Furniss is the founder and principal advisor of GeoVisory.
As an exploration executive with more than 35 years experience in the upstream oil and gas exploration business he has managed global geoscience teams and exploration programs in both junior ASX-listed and large multi-national E&P companies.
Andy is recognized for delivering exploration success, building highly productive teams and driving growth in early-stage geoscience technology businesses. With a proven ability to work closely with boards and executive teams on issues of corporate governance, growth strategy, M&A and risk management he is experienced working with Commonwealth and State governments and regulators to ensure compliance while delivering optimal outcomes for the client.
His proudest achievement has been leading the team responsible for taking one of Australia’s largest onshore gas discoveries, Waitsia Gas Field, from initial discovery through to a $1 Billion+ full field development project.
